BEYOND GRAMMATICAL INTERPRETATION

DEDUCTIVE INTERPRETATION

Introduction

   Deductive Interpretation takes up where Grammatical Interpretation leaves off: e.g.

   In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Now, let's REDUCE  this verse down to it's lowest common denominator: i.e. isolate & extract the simple clause;

then ask

1./  What did God create ?  ANS. = Heaven & Earth.

2./  When did God create these things ?  ANS. = " In the beginning "

3./  This results in the simplest form of understanding what is actually referred to and meant by the terminology of the phrasings used - to confer/convey what is really referred to/meant.

 [ " In the beginning " ]  LINK-->in the beginning(at)PRELIMINARY PAGES However, presents a different kind of  "TIME " bearing statement.

4./  To go into/ get into / " get at " what underlies such a phrase requires an experienced, knowledgeable understanding of more than just 1 ( one ) or even a few verses.

5./   This is where Deductive Interpretation begins.

   A./   Deductive reasoning asks ~ where then and/or what place in "time" does "in the beginning" refer ? Where [in the Word of God does it speak about and/or does it tell us of/about such things ?
